We got a walker - well have had one for a few weeks now

But he officially NEVER crawls, so thats it, we have a walker. He walks like a drunk and NEVER follows me or walks where I need or want him to - but he walks and I'll take it.

Also words - but one new word always wipes away the previous ones - current words are "wawa" for any liquids, but namely water and DAHHHH (with enthusiasm) which is dog or half dog / half crash, hard to say - and actually its not only dog but any teddy/dolly. Other words used less frequently, a version of "cheers" which doubles as cheese and possibly kiss; mama - mommy of course and possibly milk (although milk is now wawa); da-eat (silent t) - daddy; na na - nana or night night.

He also furiously claps his hands and is generally a VERY happy boy after 2+ months of straight misery. Its interesting the stuffiness everyone comments on seems to be gone, as is the teething so I wonder whatever was bothering him was really bothering the poor little buggar.

We had a very fun visit from Uncle Martin, Holly and Fraser and besides the unbearable heat, we had lots of fun and Lux loved having the company and loves the company of her two gentle, patient cousins. They never make her feel like a little girl and seem to just enjoy her - even though she is only 5, it is lovely to see and watch - the universal kid/family bond!

It has been miserably hot and we've discovered that the house retains heat and is pretty terribly hot - its been about 86 in the house since friday and we keep being told it will cool down but so far I can't tell. Affirmation to spend the additional money to have AC when we get a new gas heating system since the oil one is inefficient and on its last legs.

Why do I always say this "I need to post more often" - I need to post more often, and get better with photos.

Time to get on the crowd and do my sit ups.
