okay best be back at it -

sorry mom, since you are likely the only person that reads my blog, this will be a bust, since it was an email that i sent to you...

not great here, i returned from whistler with a little cold that has blosommed into a full blown sinus infection. i stayed home today with huxley who has a fever and wouldn't really stop crying or fussing until passing out just now and got a call from school that lux had a tiny fever and bad headache. so all three of us are home, i wish i could rest, but that won't happen with the other 2 here! earlier in the day when things seemed a bit brighter, they both went to the dentist (huxley for the first time) and when driving home he announced he wanted to "stop at the barber shop for a hair cut" which seemed odd - but we stopped and...he got a hair cut, much better than the terrible ones i give him. also a first. maybe two firsts one day is why he cried for two hours before finally falling asleep, of course me saying "huxley babies cry for two hours and can't tell their mommys why they are crying, so either you are a baby or tell mommy why you can't stop crying" didn't make the afternoon any better for either of us.

 parenting - not the stuff for softies, or moms who are sick, or maybe anyone...

 lux now home, seems fine - no fever or headache, but a major case of boredom! sometimes i think there are days she wills something on herself so she can simply come or stay home. hmmmm who do we know that is like that!  but the way she is banging around the house "sick" is bloody bound to wake up her dragon of a brother. 

so now we wait for geoffrey to come home!
