Day two of kindergarten and to be honest, it seems like this is just a regular thing, Lux seems perfectly adjusted and happy. But what would I give to be a fly on the wall of her class...
But I wonder why she is there from 9:15 to 3:25 - they have (according to Lux) 3 recesses and one lunch, take all of those away and they could simply send her home at noon, as far as I'm concerned. That and she ONLY eats when its lunch and she needs to get down to business and EAT, first day she came home with her entire lunch and was famished, I'm not sure what happened, but anyhow today was better the lunch was gone and she didn't come home and sit down and eat for an hour.
Huxley is funny, his nap schedule is likely morphing from 2 naps into one - I remember that this was a hard transition for Lux. I had to wake him up to walk to school to pick up Lux and for the rest of the afternoon / evening he sucked at his fingers. At dinner he was all over the place pushing himself from the table and yelling, I smacked my hand on the table and said "NO" and he looked at me, smacked his hand down and yelled, then leaned over to bite me and I said "no Huxley, ouch" and he cried and spent the rest of dinner reaching for me. He definitely experiments with limits in a way that Lux. Daddy came home and Huxley said "eeyyeee da eee".
