lux'isms...

I also bought Lux some body paint/crayons - she said "oh great mom, they are for sensible skin" (sensitive skin).

few steps here and there

huxley over the last few days has taken a few steps here and there, no more than a few (although geoff and lux claim he took 6 - i highly doubt it, or the accuracy in general of much of what the two of them say...) but he is in bed at this moment walking in the crib (8:45, i guess he napped too much, coupled with his bedroom is 85degrees), although like most things with huxley progress of any kind is SLOWWWWWW, nothing like what I remember with Lux when progress exponentially grew as she mastered things, not my son.

for instance since my first word video, he still pretty much has the same words - apple, which i think is for food in general and nothing really to do with apples; maaaa = milk or momma, i'm not sure; da = dad, dog or that, again not totally sure, cssss = cheese, definitely cheese and no he's not constipated given the amt of cheese that he eats, i think that sums up his vocabulary. and he's been able to "where is your hair" well for maybe two months but no new body parts, granted nose sounds like toes and vice versa and I've been working the nose and toes things pretty hard. i realized the possible mix up today and have moved onto ears.

but he's cute and i can't seem to put him down, which is likely why at 15 months he's not walking, but i love me a baby and he's my last and it goes by far too quickly.
