Lazy sunday

i've just taken 20 cupcakes and home made gooey mac and cheese from the oven, huxley is sleeping, geoffrey and lux on a spare part for the sprinkler mission. huxley is down with his second ear infection in a month (and second round of antibiotics) - this time a double infection...grrr, to me this is now a pattern and very aggravating. i'm not sure what the issue is, i'm doing research and will continue to do more...he has been breastfed which drastically decreases the likelyhood for an ear infection to begin with, is lux bringing home germs from school, does huxley have allergies or a weakened immune system making him more at risk? i am sure that the first infection was cleared up - he was at the dr. for his year check up and they verified that his ears looked clean.

did i update the blog with his stats? 29 inches in length, 20 pounds - he is small -5%-10% percentile, with a big mellon. this too is perplexing - he eats us out of house and home. dr. isn't worried, he continues to track very small and will likely be a small kid. i was looking at baby pictures of lux last night and the similarities are quite something but she looked to be a good 10 pounds heavier, i will need to find her baby book to confirm.

i need to blog about quiting my job, i will do that this week - i need to capture those thoughts and that energy. although i have rolled right into another job...

milk and cookies

a saturday snack - nice to be able to feed them the same one! anyways touch my cookies and you die! geoff's ipad arrived today, just in time to give it to me as i leave microsoft and he starts - STBY geoff (sucks to be you).

out and about

lux "mom i don't have a lot barbie things when you think about it" mom "what do you mean, you have a lot of barbie things" lux "well i mean i have the barbie booze cruise and a car...don't say it mom i know what you're what you're thinking...some kids don't have any toys and i have lots of toys, i know mom, its just i don't have any toys for my barbies"

lux "could dad lend you to me to sleep with tonight, he does fine sleeping on his own"

huxley - takes off pants in bed, bites (whatever he can but prefers toes and heels when he is crawling around and you are sitting on the sofa), likes lights, is saying momma we think he may really mean 'momma' could this be his first word? lux's was dah - dog and then dada - dad
